The Influences

Listen – Suggest – Accompany
The basis of the approach is Non-Directive Intervention (NDI), a method of psychotherapy, pedagogy, counseling, group facilitation, and lifestyle. The framework of the approach is holistic.
Non-Directiveness
Non-Directiveness sees each person as an autonomous creator of their own life, allowing them to be authentic and feel free within their own experience. Its basic principles are accompaniment, unconditional acceptance, empathy, active listening, and the authenticity of the therapist.
Therapeutic Relationship
NDI prioritizes relationships. It cultivates relationships of reciprocity and synergy. I participate in this relationship simply having a difference in role, not level. I collaborate for the purpose we have jointly defined, respecting the uniqueness, time, and rhythm of each individual.
Intervention
After listening and taking into account the feelings, emotions or behaviors of the person or group, I can intervene by making suggestions, which stem from proven methods and techniques. The person or group is free to choose or reject the suggestion that helps them at each moment.

Hollistic Framework
The holistic approach recognizes the interconnectedness of mind, body, spirit and emotions and aims for their harmonious relationship. It emphasizes self-awareness and the conscious emergence of mental resilience and is not limited to the treatment of specific symptoms or conditions.

Self-Awareness
A continuous process of self-observation and reflection. The deep understanding of ourselves, the recognition of our capabilities and limitations, our virtues and imperfections, how we relate to the world. But most of all, the understanding of what it means to be human, recognizing our freedom of will and our autonomy.
Mental Resilience
The ability to functionally manage the unpleasant emotions we experience in specific situations, so that our vitality is not compromised.
These situations vary for each person, they may involve trauma or everyday experiential scenes, physical or psychological suffering, elements of psychopathology, situations from the past or echoes in the present, depending on psychological resilience and personal development.
The emergence of self-awareness and mental resilience is a therapeutic goal and leads to integration.
